Our team at Healesville Living and Learning Centre is a dedicated group of passionate educators, community workers, and volunteers committed to fostering connection, learning and wellbeing across the Healesville region. With diverse backgrounds in adult education, community development and social support, we work together to create an inclusive, welcoming environment where everyone can build skills, make meaningful connections and contribute to a stronger, more resilient local community.
Nich Rogers
Executive Officer
Nich has been supporting and leading community organisations for over 25 years. He has worked across Community Development, Primary and Mental Health, Youth, Disability, Out of Home Care, Housing and Homelessness, Community Legal, and Alcohol and Other Drug service settings.
Shona Rimmer Community Development Coordinator
Shona Rimmer serves as the Community Development Coordinator, playing a vital role in connecting NICHR’s programs with the needs of the communities it supports. With a passion for grassroots engagement, Shona works closely with participants, partners, and volunteers to foster inclusive and meaningful community involvement.
Lesley Stewart –
Administration Officer
As the Volunteer Coordinator, Kath Gannaway leads NICHR’s volunteer engagement and support efforts. Kath is responsible for recruiting, training, and mentoring volunteers who are essential to the organisation’s programs and community outreach. Her role helps strengthen the volunteer workforce and ensures that volunteers feel prepared.
Lesley Stewart –
Administration Officer
Lesley Stewart is the Administration Officer, supporting the operational and administrative functions that keep NICHR running smoothly. With a focus on organisation and efficiency, Lesley manages essential administrative tasks, supports staff with logistics, and contributes to the overall coordination of internal processes.
Simon Jansch –
Finance Officer
Simon Jansch serves as the Finance Officer for NICHR, where he oversees the financial integrity and sustainability of the organisation. Simon’s responsibilities include budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with fiscal policies. His role is critical in managing resources responsibly and supporting the long-term viability of NICHR’s community programs.

Gardens & Landscaping
Vinn is a Projects Officer at NICHR, involved in planning, developing, and implementing community projects. Their work supports the organisation’s mission to provide impactful, well-executed initiatives that address community needs. Vinn collaborates with staff, volunteers, and stakeholders to bring projects from concept to completion.
